This policy describes how DoseWindow, a GAMA Dynamics product, handles information. It is a practical product disclosure and is not legal advice.
Information you enter
DoseWindow may contain medication names and forms, dosage descriptions, schedules, timing windows, treatment periods, Taken and Skipped history, and optional photos or conversational setup information.
Storage and private iCloud sync
DoseWindow stores information locally. When iCloud Sync is enabled, durable information may be stored in your private CloudKit database. Sync depends on your Apple account and iCloud availability. Apple’s applicable terms and policies govern Apple services.
Widget data
A lightweight, derived projection may be stored locally in an App Group so widgets can display timely information. This projection is not the authoritative medication database.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally. Notification content may appear on the Lock Screen according to your settings, and you can hide medicine names. Permission, Focus, Silent Mode and system settings can affect delivery or sound.
Photos and Apple Vision OCR
Images you select may be processed on-device using Apple Vision to extract text. Extracted information requires your confirmation before a medicine is saved. Image metadata is reduced where practical.
Optional AI Guided Setup
Only the setup text or image you choose to provide, as required for the current session, may be sent to the configured AI service. Medication history, other medicines, widget data, device identity and unrelated health data should not be sent. Nothing is persisted as a medicine until you confirm it. Provider details will be updated here if deployment changes.
Advertising, tracking and analytics
DoseWindow does not sell personal information, use medication data for advertising or cross-app tracking, or use third-party analytics at this time.
Retention and deletion
You can edit, archive or delete medication data through the app where available. CloudKit deletion may take time to propagate. You may email us for support with a privacy request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the product. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
DoseWindow should be used consistently with applicable App Store age requirements and with appropriate adult supervision where needed.
International users
Information may be processed where Apple or a configured service provider operates, subject to their applicable safeguards and your settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as DoseWindow or its services change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
